When the ZR-1 first hit the market Corvette aficionados were impressed by the handling, braking and Porsche-pounding performance offered by General Motors. Fast forward and we're impressed by this car!

Approaching this car you will soon see all the panels are straight and the gaps tight. The wheels are in very good condition; in fact, it's hard to find a scratch, let alone a chip. The panels are as you'd expect-straight as an arrow. The paint still shows a high gloss. The taillight lenses look as good as they did when new, as do the headlights. All the marker lights are clear and free of defects.

The interior is very nice for a '91. The black leather seats are free of tears and excessive wear. The carpet along the rocker panels look tight and proper. The foot pedals and gear shifter look virtually unused. All the instrument gauges light up bright when prompted to do so.

Power is provided by the aluminum LT5; a 5.7-liter, 32 valve, double overhead cam machine producing 375hp courtesy of Lotus and Mercury Marine technology. The aluminum pistons, with a compression ratio of 11.0:1, requires a lot of lubrication-12 quarts to be exact. This car fires right up and sounds ready to drive.
