1975 Chevrolet Corvette

Taking a nice evening off and going to a car show is one of summer's best activities, and a Corvette is a great way to get around.  This is a clean and cool looking silver-on-silver example and it runs great.

Outside you'll notice clean, even paint that's much better than you'd find in 1975 on any Chevrolet.  Silver is the original color, and it really highlights the car's silhouette.  The original urethane front bumper is nice and straight while the rear bumper is now a high quality fiberglass replacement for the truly horrible factory part.  The glass and emblems look better than they should for 38,000 miles.  BFGoodrich Radial T/A's surround the original rally wheels.  This is a clean looking classic.

Inside the all-original interior is beautiful.  There are no tears or discoloration in the seats, the carpets are clean and the dash is excellent.  You'll find power windows, air conditioning, a working original AM/FM radio, a tilt/telescoping steering column and more.  You don't find an interior that looks like this on a high mile, abused car-this one was always well kept.

Under the hood is the original 350ci V8, dressed as original.  Its 165hp certainly won't light the world on fire but it starts and runs every time you turn the key, works great with 87 octane gas, and doesn't fight you at idle in traffic on a 90 degree day.  Chances are you're buying this as a cruiser, and to this car it's more important to arrive refreshed than 30 seconds sooner and white knuckled.

Underneath is nearly all original.  The frame is perfect, the floors are perfect and the original exhaust from the mufflers on up through the single in/single out catalytic converter is in excellent shape.  Most suspension pieces are original and in very nice condition.  Aside from the new paint job (silver from the 1970's rarely held up well) this is a reference survivor car.
