1972 Chevrolet CorvetteWith only 15,000 miles and nearly every original part still in place, this car deserves its NCRS awards.

15,400 original miles

Original tank sticker

Multiple NCRS Top Flight awards

Looks  great, runs and drives even better.

We have the original tank sticker, the owner's manual, Corvette Club owner's car, full title history, NCRS judging sheets, financing information when the car was new and more. Survivor cars are cool pieces of history. Rolling reminders of how cars were built, cars like this Corvette are reference pieces for the rest of the hobby.

As equipped, the car has the very desirable Mille Miglia Red over Black color combination. It's also comfort oriented, with the standard ZQ3 350ci engine and M20 wide ratio transmission.  It's not the "sexy" engine, but it's the one you want when you're just tooling around or going to car shows.  Same goes with the transmission:  The "wide" first gear ratio really helps when taking off from a start. There's power steering, which is a must on C3 Corvettes due to their wider tires.  Power brakes didn't make the list, but you won't miss them because the car stops great with low effort thanks to rebuilt calipers and a rebuilt master cylinder. This Corvette has two added options from new: The very handy tilt/telescope steering column which makes entry and exit so much easier, and a fully self contained (and therefore completely removable) stereo box in the hatch area. The speakers, head unit, wiring and more are integrated into one box, providing great sound and an invisible removal should your purest heart desire. There's the original AM radio in the dash, but you'll listen to the custom unit in the back.

This is a VERY original car. We can see one muffler has been changed, the battery obviously isn't the same one as installed during the Nixon administration, and wear components like the belts, tires, shocks and springs were changed to take the worry out of driving the car. The convertible top is in excellent condition for original, as is the interior. Most "survivor" Corvettes don't look anywhere near this nice. But with only 15,488 believed to be true miles and meticulous care, this car is well worth your time and consideration.

At the Motor Car Group, we're enthusiasts first. We want you to enjoy your new car from the minute it's delivered and the trailer door drops. Before a car leaves our shop, it's gone through comprehensively, both visually and mechanically. We do more than just kick the tires, though: We fill your tires with nitrogen, road test (if the weather permits us here in Cleveland!) and clean it inside and out. We buff the paint using a three-step process immediately before it's taken away so that it gleams when it arrives. Every car we sell, from Sunday drivers through the rarest exotics, is meant to be driven-get out there!

If you have any questions before, during or after the sale, do not hesitate to contact us. It's what we're here for! Call us at (440) 914-0000, write us at sales@motorcargroup.com or stop by and see the new shop at 6441 Davis Industrial Parkway, Solon OH 44139. We're 26 miles from Cleveland Hopkins Airport and we can pick you up when you come to inspect or purchase your car. We welcome any prospective buyers, their buyer's agents or inspectors from Monday through Friday during business hours, as well as evenings and weekends by appointment. We're car people who love what we do, and you'll feel it from the first time you contact us. Give the R&H crew the opportunity to serve you: Our passion and attention to detail set us apart!
