A great driver!

There are few Corvettes cooler than a vintage bright red convertible with a four speed.  This car has been in good hands for decades, and it's been thoroughly gone through to make it work as well as it looks.  

Outside, the shiny Roman Red topcoat covers straight bodywork.  Chrome pieces were redone approximately 7 years ago when the paint was done.  Stainless pieces are clean and original.  All of the lights and lenses are clean and fully functional.  The white convertible top is in great shape and works well with the red paint.  Steel wheels hold correct hubcaps and whitewall tires.  Together it's a great look.

The interior soft trim was thoroughly redone at the time of restoration.  New seat covers, new carpeting, clean door panels and a straight dash look great from the driver's seat.  A reproduction steering wheel that's a couple inches smaller in diameter than stock-with the narrow tires and light weight, it's no problem to steer and even easier to get in and out.

The 327 under the hood starts and runs brilliantly.  It's dressed as a 340hp version though the block was decked and there are no numbers up front to confirm or deny the originality.  A Holley 4 bbl carb sits between the very cool louvered air cleaner and a true Winters aluminum intake.  The exhaust is newer, and it's nearly silent at idle with a low rumble when revved.  The transmission shifts very well thanks to the Hurst stick and mechanism.  There are zero overheating issues-they were thoroughly beaten out of the car as the previous owner wanted to drive the car anywhere at any time.  Not many Corvettes can say that.  Give us a call as we'd be happy to answer any questions you have.
