1969 Chevrolet Camaro

There's something about a '69 Camaro that always draws attention. Get ready for that muscle car cred when you show up in this bright white with in-your-face black racing striped Camaro.

Description

Here's a big block bruiser that just begs to be driven. Sit inside on the comfortable houndstooth seats, twist the key to hear the subtle rumble of the engine, grab the Hurst stick coming through the center console, and get going.

SS/RS 396, four speed tribute

Great driving and very well sorted

Crisp white paint, Houndstooth interior

Center console with gauges

All new RS grille components

Ready for a cruise-in near you

Stand in front of the front bumper and check out the fully functional RS grille and lights. This car sold at another well-known dealership in MD with no internal pieces for the headlight mechanisms, but we don't sell cars that way. Either everything works or we don't sell it! Pop the new reproduction cowl induction hood. Notice it's finished on top and underneath-a nice touch. Glance down to find the 396 heart of the beast. With a big block you don't need a lot of mods to light the tires, and this car proves it. A tried-and-true Holley 600cfm carb sits on a Holley 300-42 dual-plane intake for deep breathing and solid performance. The cam is mild, the idle has just a hint of rumble and the car's manners would put a European finishing school to shame. Clark Kent in appearance, it'll get going down the road in a hurry! Exhaust leaves through stock manifolds and a full 2.25” exhaust with deep-sounding turbo mufflers.

Backing the powerhouse up is a T10 four speed that shifts great. A reconditioned flywheel, an easy-to-operate clutch kit, clean sychros and bearings make it shift like new. The real live 12 bolt rear out back with 3.36 gears runs quietly and smoothly, and is more than capable of taking whatever the torquey 396 can throw at it. There are drum brakes out back matching disc brakes up front with new pads, rotors and calipers. Tight front end parts, a solid power steering box and newer springs and shocks complete the ride. The floors are solid, and are coated in a nice coat of chassis black. You can buy a car to stare at, or you can drive this one to your heart's content and not worry about waxing the bottom of it! Classic Chevy rally wheels are at all four corners, in 14x6,” and come wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A's that give the car a proper muscle car look.

Outside, the original Dover White color was retained, along with fresh black SS stripes. The paint is glossy, with newer chrome bits to match. There are all new emblems, New door handles, and clean bumpers. The classic Z/28 spoiler out back definitely adds even more visual appeal. We have perfect cars, and we love 'em, but this one's got a blemish here and there. It's a driver, and it's a title the car wears proudly.

This car originally came with a deluxe interior, and that's what you'll find inside. Newer black-and-white houndstooth seat covers look perfect in a 1969 Camaro, and they're very clean here. The dash pad was replaced, as were the gauge lenses, most of the chrome pieces, the carpet and more. The original door panels stand guard at your sides, looking very nice for 42-year-old pieces! Grab onto the SS-badged wheel, look over the cowl hood, turn up the Classic Autosound cassette deck, check out the full compliment of factory gauges in the center console, verify RPM's on the in-dash tach and take off!

Sold yet? I'd hope so-this is a GREAT cruising car, with understated good looks and plenty of power.  This car starts right up, idles great and has good power, and the driveability is unmatched. With low miles believed to be only 32,440 it is an incredible buy!

At the Motor Car Group, we're enthusiasts first. We want you to enjoy your new car from the minute it's delivered and the trailer door drops. Before a car leaves our shop, it's gone through comprehensively, both visually and mechanically. We do more than just kick the tires, though: We fill your tires with nitrogen, road test (if the weather permits us here in Cleveland!) and clean it inside and out. We buff the paint using a three-step process immediately before it's taken away so that it gleams when it arrives. Every car we sell, from Sunday drivers through the rarest exotics, is meant to be driven-get out there!

If you have any questions before, during or after the sale, do not hesitate to contact us. It's what we're here for! Call us at (440) 914-0000, write us at sales@motorcargroup.com or stop by and see the new shop at 6441 Davis Industrial Parkway, Solon OH 44139. We're 26 miles from Cleveland Hopkins Airport and we can pick you up when you come to inspect or purchase your car. We welcome any prospective buyers, their buyer's agents or inspectors from Monday through Friday during business hours, as well as evenings and weekends by appointment. We're car people who love what we do, and you'll feel it from the first time you contact us. Give the R&H crew the opportunity to serve you: Our passion and attention to detail set us apart!
