This is a cool car-totally unique styling, a great throwback pedigree and one of the best engines ever built.  This example is a one owner car with only 3500 miles, and it looks like new.  The all aluminum body is in gorgeous shape with no dents or dings.  All of the lights, lenses and glass panels are like new.  Both the wheels and tires are original to the car.  The hardtop cart and storage cover are included.  The lines are stunning as are the chrome pieces which pay homage to the 507.  It's a classic.

The leather and painted surfaces likewise appear new.  Floor mats have been down since '01 (that's even on the Carfax) and everything works as it should.  The cool ignition key with its bolted on aluminum Z8 trim plate sets it apart from those found in the rest of BMW's lineup.  The cabin is roomy for two with comfortable seats and headroom even for taller drivers.  Twist the key, press the leather-wrapped ignition button, check the center mounted gauge cluster, slide the aluminum shifter into first and grab hold of that awesome banjo steering wheel-you know you're in something special.

Under the hood is one of our favorite engines ever, the 5 liter V8 lifted from the E39 M5.  It purrs and putts along at low throttle and comes alive with an amazing soundtrack.  The transmission shifts like new.  The car was serviced under 400 miles ago at Coggin BMW in Florida, where this car spent its life.

These cars are SHARPLY rising in value, and they appear to be good long term holds.  It's gorgeous, it has very low miles, it's one of the coolest cars to come out of Munich and it'll always be rare.  Give us a call with any questions or to reserve it for your collection.
