For fans of the Ford Torino, R&H is proud to present this beautifully restored 1970 Ford Torino GT in bright yellow! This highly authentic car is the product of a recent body off restoration and looks absolutely fantastic. It runs and drives great and is fast becoming a rare collectible.

For 1970 the Torino was the recipient of a supersonic aircraft inspired redesign by Bill Shenk, a Ford Motor Company designer. Shenk envisioned a longer and more prominent hood while shortening the rear deck lid. The SportRoof models, like this one, had an even flatter fastback roof-line and increased windshield rake over past Torinos.

As you approach our car you'll notice it has a super straight sheet metal exterior and is finished in bright yellow paint with an awesome Laser Stripe down the sides—which really makes the car stand out! The panel gaps are as one would expect and the doors close soundly. The newly chromed slim and tight fitting bumpers are highly polished and brilliant. All the glass and marker lights are in very good condition as well.

Inside the super clean engine bay is a 5.8L Cleveland 351 2bbl V8 engine. It starts as you'd expect and the idle falls to a subtle hum courtesy of the new dual exhaust system. The transmission, differential, and master cylinder have been rebuilt and the shocks are new in all four corners. The chassis on this car is very clean and solid as well. This is one of the nicest classic cars we've had in our shop.

The inside of this Torino was also redesigned for 1970 and this all black interior is as you'd expect—beautiful! The high back bucket seats show perfectly just like the rear. By design, the streamlined dash has minimal gauges and buttons, and all of it is in very good condition. Even the Philco AM radio works like it did out of the showroom. New carpet covers the floor giving it that completely new appearance.
