A beautiful tribute with a high level of detail!

Just in-this bright red Challenger loaded down with all sorts of goodies!  It's got an awesome sounding 440, a four speed and looks that stop traffic.  It was in the February 2008 issue of Muscle Car Review, and it still looks ready for its next shoot.

A plan was formed in 2005 for what turned into a 2+ year-long restoration.  Starting with a clean, original 318 car, the shell was stripped to nothing and built up with straight and excellent bodywork.  The PPG base/clear paint in FE5 Bright Red looks like it jumps off the panels.  An awful lot of cool factory options were added, like the Go Wing, the big hood blackout decal, longitudinal side stripes, front and rear spoilers, 15x7 rallye wheels, dual painted sport mirrors, hood pins, a dual cutout rear valance and rear window louvers.  Those wishing to maintain low-key need not apply.

Inside, the greatest hits trip continues.  Slide into the new leather bucket seats and grab onto the rim blow steering wheel.  Scan the proper rallye gauges while you grab the Hurst pistol grip coming up through the center console.    Soft trim from the carpet to the headliner and from the dash to the package tray.

Under the hood is a rebuilt 1970 440 with a great Comp Cams extreme energy .491/.488 bumpstick, an Edelbrock Performer RPM and Hooker headers stand out as big time performance mods.  The chrome air cleaner covers a fat four barrel while electronic ignition lights the fire.  The four speed was rebuilt and works great.  An 8 3/4 rear holds a Sure Grip and 3.55 gears.  Addco sway bars help handle the twisties while factory style disc brakes bring it to a halt.  A big dual exhaust with Flowmasters announces your arrival.  You'll love it.

The car was featured in the February 2008 issue of Muscle Car Review, and it's collected its fair share of trophies.  If you're in the market for a traffic stopping Challenger that you can drive anywhere, give us a call.

At the Motor Car Group, we're enthusiasts first. We want you to enjoy your new car from the minute it's delivered and the trailer door drops. Before a car leaves our shop, it's gone through comprehensively, both visually and mechanically. We do more than just kick the tires, though: We fill your tires with nitrogen, road test (if the weather permits us here in Cleveland!) and clean it inside and out. We buff the paint using a three-step process immediately before it's taken away so that it gleams when it arrives. Every car we sell, from Sunday drivers through the rarest exotics, is meant to be driven-get out there!

If you have any questions before, during or after the sale, do not hesitate to contact us. It's what we're here for! Call us at (440) 914-0000, write us atsales@motorcargroup.com or stop by and see the new shop at 6441 Davis Industrial Parkway, Solon OH 44139. We're 26 miles from Cleveland Hopkins Airport and we can pick you up when you come to inspect or purchase your car. We welcome any prospective buyers, their buyer's agents or inspectors from Monday through Friday during business hours, as well as evenings and weekends by appointment. We're car people who love what we do, and you'll feel it from the first time you contact us. Give the R&H crew the opportunity to serve you: Our passion and attention to detail set us apart!
